Build #5 Tamiya 14068 scale Ducati 916
Ok we join this build where basically it is just waiting for the body panels to go on, I love the colours that Tamiya called out for this and you may notice with this being around my 6th bike build now I am getting much better at the detailing and finishi
love the colours and detaling on this kit, left side showing all the plumbing and contrasting engine case covers on this gorgeous V twin
a little out of focus but you should be able to still pick out some of the detail
and the right side
although I think Ducatti's are gorgeous bikes, this is one ugly duckling without the front cowling on
another close up of my detail work before starting on the body panels
rubbish lighting again as the italian red is showing pink again but on with the seat, tank and rear cowling unit
rear view of the Ducatti's sexy ass
last wee look before the front cowling goes on
Halted at this stage as ran out of italian red but I think with the cowling on, this makes a gorgeous naked bike

Album info
Almost completed this one as I had ran out of paint and had some panel fitting issues with the fairings.
Another lovely kit from Tamiya and have really enjoyed the build on this.
This will be around my 5th bike build since I started back into modelling and is all hand painted using Tamiya acrylics and TS8 Italian red.
RRP on this kit is around £25.00
Again I only started taking pictures around half way through the build - sorry about that
