Mig-28

A fair amount of sanding is required on this kit. Luckily, the plastic is rather soft. 

Added some detail by drybrushing the instrument panel and the side consoles. 

Checking for flaws with a coat of primer while the windshield was drying. 

Canopy is masked and temporarily installed with white tack. 

Ready for paint. The canopy frame was primed with black primer before the grey primer went on. 

The bottom. I've used Badger Stynylrez Primer on this model. 

Just an hor later it was painted with Tamiya XF-69 NATO Black. 

Since the Testors Top Gun Mig-28 decals failed on me, I made a paint mask and sprayed white, yellow and red on the tail. Who needs decals larger than a dime, anyway? 

Coated with a satin clear coat. 

Waiting for the landing gear to be painted. 

Almost ready for the final clear coat. Just some small details to brush paint. Having trouble with the Exocet pylons. They will go on later.
