Album info

This was a fun build of a "paper panzer" representing the ultimate version of the Panther tank. The Germans completed a couple of prototypes and production had begun on the new turret before the war ended. The Hasegawa kit is basically their older Panther model with new sprues containing steel wheels and the Schmalturm turret. I added spare track holders to the rear sides of the tank as they were missing from the kit. I also added lifting rings, handles and missing details to the turret. I used some scrap mesh to create the wire grenade protectors on the rear exhausts. The ambush scheme is painted with Tamiya paints and the Ambush specks are applied with a toothpick point.
