F-22 Raptor
Stalled in 2010. But some paint can be a good motivator.
A lot of masking. But the result makes it worth it.
Paints used. A = edges and certain panels, B = dark grey, C = light grey
Started with the weathering around the engines.

Palo MSlowly building mine - have to admit, you built a beautiful cockpit! How are you approaching the overall paint - the shine is very nice, curious how what paints you chose for the camo. Are they painted over an aluminium layer?

Eric JuvynsThx Palo. I just followed the painting instructions in the kit. First I primed the kit with Tamiya fine primer and as base layer I sprayed the lighter of the two greys. Then some black and white mottleling and ending with the light and then the dark grey.

The shining paint could be Half Glass Grey? That has an metallic effect.
