Hi!
Here are the pictures of the interior of my Tarpon, Aka TBF1 Avenger. The ex-Accurate Miniature level of detail is outsanding, and even better with a few Eduard pre-painted photo etched parts.
If only the builder (and painter) was as good and precise!
The next step was to close the fuselage, puttying and sanding what must be, and start to paint the beast.
I used Humbrol paints, hoping that there would be a subtle difference with WEM paint. After all, american paints weren't exactly british ones..
The references I used are H102 for the slate grey and H125 for the extra dark sea grey. The black panel is made with WEM night color.
Now I have paint the underside with Humbrol H90, and post shaded all the caouflage.
I have also reduced the size of the walking zones on the wings root. First I havepainted them according to the Italeri pla. Sadly on this plan the structures lines ar misplaced...
