Mercedes AMG GT3
When unpacked from the box, all parts were perfect. I bought the box from amazon.
First step: I brushed all parts with Gray Primer.
Using construction instructions step 1, I made the chassis B29 and B18 and painted them with TS29 or X-18 from Tamiya.
Step 2 and 4: Brake assembly and painting with brush
Step 3 Assembly and painting of the front axle. Since the ground clearance is only about 3mm, assembly must be carried out very precisely.
Steps 5-6 are assembled as in 3:
Step 8 Assembly and painting of the roll cage.
Step 9: After painting with X-18, I equipped the seat with Tamiya Carbon fabric and made the seat belt decals more realistic with gift ribbons. The AMG decal on the seat couldn't be missed either.
Step 11 Assembly and painting of the instrument cluster and cockpit.
Step 14 Assemble body parts
Step 15 and Step 28/29: Assemble parts A23 and A24 and level the visible separating edges with putty. Brush parts A19, A5/,A3, parts A 21 and A20 without decals with TS-42. Mount or apply decals and parts like B10 with Decal 64 and brush everything with TS-13 clear. In step 15 I didn't cut the grid yet. Rear wing assembly with parts B16 and B17
Step 16 Assembly of parts E6 and A1 and B22.
Step 17: Mask and brush parts D3 and D8 with X-18
Step 20-24 Lamp assembly. Using a drop of fluorescent paint, I make the front - and rear lights glow with black light
Step 25-26 Wheel assembly.
Step 18 and 19 Parts D3 with B31, B19 assembled Cockpit from steps 7, 10, 11 and 12 fully assembled. Marriage of body and chassis with cockpit checked. Everything fit perfectly.
In step 13 the cockpit is glued to the chassis. Contrary to the construction instructions, I have only now attached the mesh. I have attached the mesh to part C1, E6 and body parts.
Finally, I glued the side mirrors, the fully assembled rear wing and the C4 antenna to the body.
