Italeri Macchi c205 Veltro 1944 Grey Black 1/72
Tried markers and hand painting to get this as close as I could.
Im modifying the plane, to have anti glare and wing panel with chipping so i masked off inside of wings.
Tried chipping for first time, so I added sidebars and an anti glare. I think I over did it on the panels so I washed them back some.
Mistakes, erm I mean design decisions were made. Next time I will just paint in the white stripe and skip the decal on decal action.
Almost done, just needs a matte coat and touchups drying etc.

David CannonTY@ Dave this is my 2nd one since restarting, Im trying out new things, If I can get a better camera and learn some more things I might come back and retouch it and rig it. Im happy with the results but things certainly fell into place literally with this kit and alot of the looks are adaptations to mistakes or challenges in interpreting the looks from various sources.
Note to Others: This kit has inaccurate symmetrical wings, an additional 8.5in exist on port wing irl, itd be a few mm adjustment. Also the Box art Flagging seems off with one ensign green forward and on the tail being the opposite. For the model I chose to put green Forward from all approaches. Im not sure what is correct.
I learned from this kit not to follow box art when doing tail stripe also is off and it doesnt reflect the scheme inside the box very well.
