Hi, Alec. Just out of interest, the Heller MS.230 kit can still be purchased as a cover from SMER. The kit contains parts molded from Heller molds and only the decals and instructions are new.

Despite the difference in age and scale, both kits (Smer and Dora Wings) have the same fault. According to the pictures on the box, they are supposed to represent a Czechoslovakian aircraft (both kits the same machine with the OK-QHL designation). However, both kits contain parts for French machines of later design and omit the distinctive features of the Czechoslovak machines.
In post-war Czechoslovakia, probably 4 machines were used in civil aero clubs. These aircraft had a modified engine exhaust system and an additional towing device for towing gliders. And at least the OK-QHL machine had a wheel instead of a spur.
I will deal with the design differences in more detail as I build the model.
