Carsten GurkThanks Slavo 🙂 using lead wires is a first for me. This being me second (new era) model, I try to incorporate some new technique in every model. This time it is riveting and lead wire 🙂

Carsten GurkNathan, I could correct the shape of the Sidewinders and the centre pylon with boiling hot water. But to be honest, I am seriously thinking of using Hasegawa's old A2A weapons set in the future instead of the expensive Eduard missiles.

Carsten GurkYes, I think it is quite a racy scheme. To keep the look, it will only get Sidewinders and a single Barrax pod.
As a counterpart, it will eventually get a fully armed French Air Force F.1CR

Slavo HazuchaEvolving very nicely! The (straightened 🙂 ) Eduard Sidewinders also seem to at least show some decent detail level! Nice watching this 👍

Carsten GurkNathan thanks 🙂 The decal set seems to be made for the Kinetic kit, so did not really match the proportions of this Italeri kit, but I am quite happy how it turned out so far 🙂

Carsten GurkThanks Slavo 🙂 The Eduard Sidewinders really have nice details. It was just a pain to get the tiny seaker head into the missile lol.
Today is my last day before a two week vacation, I hope I can spray the leading edges before I leave, so I can post a little update tonight. Undercarriage will be completed after my vacation.

The paint job is already "dirtier" than it should be, as the real ones were extremely clean. But we want to fun, don't we?😉

Slavo HazuchaLooking smart on it's own legs (and a nice trio of legs they are...😉 ) The tape-down pics hint on a rather nice cockipt interior too 👍 Will you be making it open? The fit between the front & main canopy parts does not seem that great, could probably be a better option on such a beautifully evolving build...

@Slavo the fit of the canopy parts is rather bad. I was able to cut the canopy off again and will provide a series of final pictures with both canopy open and closed.

Maciej BellosI was terrified when you masked the tail with the decal on. I once did it end the roundel tore appart.

@Maciej - I had a protective coat of varnish on the decals already. However one roundel underneath the wings did not survive the masking. I don't know if I forgot that area or if the coat was too thin?! But the releavant areas were all safe😉
