Skyline R32 GT-R

Got this surprise package at Xmas!

Parts all on display.

An old mould, we will see.

Some swirl marks in the plastic.

Some are very noticeable.

Like, VERY noticeable!

Some are harder to see.

Ditto

Bonnet is clear and I have decided to keep it that way.

To cover the swirls I have used SMS Black primer and then a thick coat of Alclad II Black Base.

Swirls have gone but it isn’t the most even paint I have ever done.

SMS Pearl Mint Green. I was supplied this colour as part of the challenge. It grows on you after a while!

Body sanded down to 12000 grit. Found a couple of flaws. Much to learn!
