TKS Rui 🙂 Well, after over 5 hours, I built the external & internal PE grills only to see most of it disappear behind the outer grills 🙁 The main body is together & it is much bigger than I thought it would be! Now I have 3 frets of PE to add!!!

After a day on the bench, you get to play "Spot the Difference" with these latest pics! And there is still a hell of a lot more to add!!!!

Good luck with the build Noob, but most of all, I hope things go well with you father-in-law. My mum and my mother-in-law had dementia – both at the same time. It is never an easy thing to deal with.

Many TKS gorbygould. I put this on hold for a while, mainly because I was waiting for the resin mantlet to arrive. Now I can crack on again.

Album info

My Father in-law was a tank commander in charge of a Centurion tank during the Suez Crisis of 1956. He has been diagnosed with dementia and struggles remembering recent events. However, he can recall his time in Egypt as if it were yesterday.
I have decided to build this kit as "his" tank. When it is finished I will place it in his room (in his residential home) so folk have something to talk about, that he remembers so well.
