Be careful with the front/engiine cowling. It is easy to run into a fit problem there.
I have not build the fire truck, but 3 other ICM Ts. One can work around with a careful dry fit, and I used a different build order.
May be I showed a solution in my build logs here at SM, not sure.

If the model is molded in red, sometimes it is better to cover the red with silver or black. Then if you primer the red won't bleed through.

Some modelers will just polish out the plastic on a model kit that is molded in red. Overcoming the high level of pigmentation of something red is difficult.

I like to build special kits. And I try to make something special with the diorama. I thank you all guys for all the inspiration I got from you. I know that my buildings get improved by seeing the lovely kids you all build!

I purchased a kit for a Theme contest in our Club. The Theme for December is station wagons. What we sometimes refer to as Longbacks.
I have an AMT kit of a1923 Model T Depot Hack. This would have been the original station wagon. They would haul passenger luggage from the train station to the hotel.
I'm thinking about making it an original type of Woody for surfers.
