Gabonese Fouga : Gabon had 6 Fougas, pictures found on the internet of FI and FJ , belonging to the persidential guard, armed and in natural metal outfit

Valom kit with vacform canopy, had some problems to find a good fit. Decals are from Max Decals. Some changes made with Special Hobby spares : nose armament , and PE front antennas, rudder actuators and keel replaced by plastic parts.

Cameroon had five Fougas delivered with codes BD, BK, BL, AX and AV. Six others were ordered with E- codes, but these were not delivered. All pictures of these are made at Bordeaux, France

I made this kit some 20 years ago, Heller kit, brush painted with Humbrol, and Max Decals.

Thanks fellows for the likes , but wait a bit, I have more (nearly finished) Fougas. @Maciej : SH indicates Gunze / MrHobby colours in their instructions, but I use mostly Lifecolor acrylics, which are the most adapted to my limited paintig skills.

Album info
Having built a series of Fougas, and completing the collections, I intend to group the pictures in a more than one album with the same theme. This is the first one : African Fougas, including Morocco, Algeria and Gabon , Cameroon, and more to come
