Used Tamiya Dark Iron (XF-84)) for the tracks. It should be interesting to see how this turns out.

did some airbrush work on the muffler covers for a rusted look

Experimented with the periscope using molotow liquid chrome covered in clear smoke paint.

Pin wash in place on everything. Decided to put everything on, except the tracks for a quick look.

repainted the rust on the muffler area, think this looks better

did some dust wash to dirty it up a little

Nice. I like taking old kits and seeing how much I can improve them/practice skills without spending too much. One man's "trash" kit is another's treasure!

I think I can call it done. I will be spraying one more flat coat on it tomorrow night, then I will get the photo booth out and take some good finished pics.

Looks great. Definitely trying the chrome/smoke thing on my next armor build. Mufflers turned out really well too. How did you do those?

With the mufflers, I first tried airbrushing the effect and met with mediocre results. Ended up painting it by hand. Watched this video from Andy's Hobby Headquarters as brief intro before attempting it. Youtube Video
