I have the same kit, and the same idea of lowering the flaps. So i'm curious about your work and progress

It's already glued but the landing gear is wrong on this model, it should be glued on the fuselage.

I am not 100% sure if I understand you correctly. Could you please specify what you think is wrong? Do you mean it should be attached more centrally?

@AndreaK, yes, the landing should be attached to the fuselage, not the wings. It is designed to remove the wings without the need for additional support for the fuselage.
But I have not build this kit yet, so i don't know how much of it is visible once completed. May also be depending on placed on the ground in a diorama or hung up at the ceiling.
Closing the landing gear may solve (or make matterd worse?) i think.
To be 100% sure you'll have to check with 109 - historians....

The kit has holes where to put the struts. Looking full frontal, I think the position is not completely wrong (compare position relative to the inner side of the oil coolers). I would rather think that I fixed them a bit too steep/straight. Few degrees less would have been better. What do you think?

I think it's going to look great as is, this slight mould incorrection is a reminder of the kit's age. But please don't glue the wheels to those leg's pegs, as this will really look odd!
