Astir CS 77 - WiP
Canceled bottom air brakes (Astir have only upper), ailerons cuted and shifted.
Prepared wheel bay, some changes in cocpit
Seat improved, new instrument panel in progress (SP-3703 have different than standard Astir)
Holes for air brakes (on upper surfaces only!) drilled
Something goes really wrong...
... but using filler and extra plastic it was easy to correct.
After few layers of Surfacer (first was... black 🙂 )
Even filled instrument panel is too big to close the canopy 🙁
The canopy had to wide frame - I removed it.

Thomas KolbTaking a late front row seat... I actually built one of these a year ago in only a few days, but I have another one in the stash to be built with a bit more care, using the Brengun cockpit. Sanding off the cockpit frame was a great idea - ballsy, but great! 🙂

KonradThomas - I know about Bergun's cockpit but... I find a kind of pleasure to scratch something myself. It's not so sophisticated like resin ones but for me are OK.

Thomas KolbThe airbrakes turned out really nice! I forgot to ask, did you find it difficult to cut out the holes in the wings?
