The Link Up - Normandy 1944
I started painting details on the Sherman with the base color. Gonna add washes and I also will be drybrushing highlights and doing shading later on during construction. I paint the rubber of the road wheels and spare road wheels and the rubber of the tracks with Vallejo dark rubber instead of flat black.
Work on the fence and the wall has begun.

M4A1Work on the diorama base is as good as done. Now working on wheatering the Sherman.

M4A1A couple of pictures of the work in progress Sherman. Obviously the tracks aren't finished, one side still misses it's track and also the turret is Still clean. The only things really wheatered are the bogies, sprocket and idler wheels, the space between the bogies and the left side of the hull.

M4A1Added pictures of the third paratrooper in it's base colours and added a pic of the Sherman and all figures on the base. They are not put on their definitive spot.

M4A1Added more pictures of the third paratrooper. Changed the color of his trousers to the same color as his jacket. He looked too much like a regular G.I. Also began working on the shading of his uniform.

M4A1Added pics of the first paratrooper, started working on painting the shades on his jacket. Also added some pics of the ranger. Painted the shadings and highlights on both his jacket and trousers.

M4A1Added a few pics of all components how far they are now. Only one missing is the tank commander. His paint job is in a very early stage.

M4A1Thanks James! 🙂 Added pics of the 2 paratroopers I'm currently working on. Their uniforms are as good as done when it comes to shading and highlights.

M4A1Thanks Rui! I've started working on the faces of the 3 paratroopers. Not totally satisfied but not bad either.
