A plethora of molded on grab handles
![Album image #7 Album image #7](/albums/img/4/6/7/734467-11032-10-720.jpg)
so cut these away, beware of surrounding detail
![Album image #8 Album image #8](/albums/img/4/6/6/734466-11032-40-720.jpg)
Don't sand yet, use the white marking to place 2 center holes at the ends
![Album image #9 Album image #9](/albums/img/4/6/8/734468-11032-53-720.jpg)
these will keep the tip of the drill at it's place, and make sure you drill at the right spot
![Album image #10 Album image #10](/albums/img/4/6/9/734469-11032-10-720.jpg)
drilled out slightly larger then the wire you want to insert
![Album image #11 Album image #11](/albums/img/4/7/0/734470-11032-36-720.jpg)
now you can sand/scrape flush
![Album image #12 Album image #12](/albums/img/4/7/1/734471-11032-79-720.jpg)
For 1/72 I usually use 0.3mm wire, give it a sharp bend for starters
![Album image #13 Album image #13](/albums/img/4/7/2/734472-11032-43-720.jpg)
fit it through the opening
![Album image #14 Album image #14](/albums/img/4/7/3/734473-11032-98-720.jpg)
I know there are handle tools, but distance isn't always perfect... So I measure it like this: I put the tip of the pliers at the end (furthest point) of the drilled opening, Then keep the pliers in this position while removing the handle
![Album image #15 Album image #15](/albums/img/4/8/0/734480-11032-12-720.jpg)
bit clearer 😉
![Album image #16 Album image #16](/albums/img/4/7/4/734474-11032-71-720.jpg)
then bend, results in a perfect fit
![Album image #17 Album image #17](/albums/img/4/7/5/734475-11032-90-720.jpg)
nice, the put the wire totally down
![Album image #18 Album image #18](/albums/img/4/7/6/734476-11032-83-720.jpg)
apply some CA
![Album image #19 Album image #19](/albums/img/4/7/7/734477-11032-33-720.jpg)
and move the wire a bit outward. You get some glue in the opening like this. For equal distances, you can also add a small plate under the handles to use as a spacer.

next in the series... MSTA 152.4mm Howitser. Nice kit, but fist one that needs a lot of filler on the hull compared to others...

True, but compared to the others from the series I'm building, these didn't need a drop of filler. But detail from the kit is exquisite.

first layer done... some places need a retouch, but I'm glad so far... The paintmix proposed wasn't right, so it took a while to get it correct...

Great, looking forward. Seem to have lost the triangular part underneath the arm that holds the barrel. Can I ask you for some dimensions and a picture?

Thank you. I've checked the site here for the instruction manuals of the several T-90, MSTA, Coalitsia in this camouflage (Trumpeter, Meng, ...) but found the ocre (middle tone) too much off, so ended up mixing a blend till it looked a bit like the pictures (yellow, brown, buff, but the final mix... that was on the go, so the ratio's... I don't know
