Hi Frank, it is really an extraordinary work on an extremely seldom seen model. Sad that most of the SMates cannot guess what you've done here. Like the selfmade wooden prop, all those tiny little turnbuckles, the extra details in cockpit or simply the conversion from a biplane to a triplane aircraft. A simple discription or pictures of those "Extras" could help to understand that great work.
Really nice work and it's a pleasure to see it again.

Adding to Dirk'. comment, I agree that many fantastic builds go relatively unnoticed on Scalemates. The answer as to why is probably complex, but familiarity with the subject likely plays a significant role (no Bf-109 shall ever pass without comment 😉 ). I also believe that, often, it's simple shyness in the face of great workmanship (i.e. "Holy s#%t, this is so awesome, what the hell do I say to that!" ). I certainly include myself in this category. In any case, Frank's work (ha, now we know his secret identity 😄 ) is certainly worthy of a lengthy stop and reflection. I for one always appreciate the efforts of advanced modelers in posting the pics and description of their work, as it's a priceless source for inspiration and skill improvement. Thank you, and once again, fantastic and insiping work 👍

Thank you all, but especially Dirk and Alec for your long explanation 👍
Regarding explanation, please see also the project description, there is also a link to a detailed build log. But I will add here some detail pics (and hopefully a b/w pic) soon.
@Burkhard: No, its 1:48, as categorized.

Your fabric simulation on the wings and horizontal surfaces is just amazing. Complete with the cross showing through (pic 26)! Great pics, many thanks. How you managed to build this in 1.5 months is just beyond me...

Thanks, your comments are very much appreciated! Alec, I usually build 6 models per year, the red Pfalz was finished in exactly one month this year. But the Pup takes much longer, so the average is two month.
