Hi Spanjaard. In fact , I' didnt used any primer.... I' polished the plastic directly with my Dremel, until it goes gloss bright.... and then, when you spray the Alclad, it goes like a (flying) mirror....

the alclad does not affect the plastic without primer?

You're right, the first layer of Alclad is like melted with the plastic, making it almost impossible to remove it if were needed it for some reason. But i'guess it's also the reason why it gives that shiny effect.

Album info

Hi guys,
This is my P47, from the old Hasegawa kit from the 80's (1/72).
Even if this kit is very basic, I' build it straight from the box, since I' just wanted to have a shiny metallic paint (maybe to much... ;<) )and a cool nose art...
Hope you like it.
Didier
