I have a question.
I bought for my son when he was twelve two models of an airplane with Haribo. He doesn't like it to build but he has painted 1 model (only 2 parts with Revell email paint) No I want to make it; can I remove the paint, or can I paint it over with Revell Aqua? Thanks for your answers

Castrol super clean will remove paint or chrome from models without damaging the plastic. Put whatever you want to strip in a bucket with Castrol and let it soak over night, maybe longer if the paint has been on for years. Make sure you wear rubber gloves when working with Castrol, scrub your parts clean in warm running water with a toothbrush or the like.

I assume you mean enamel paint? If so oven cleaner works as well:

If you can't find Castrol Super Clean, the generic version is called purple power, you can also use brake fluid. Brake fluid sometimes takes longer but the results are good and no fumes like over cleaner. All 3 products are very bad for your skin so use gloves.

Kenneth I will look for it next week. It is not the project I like to start soon. I have two planes from him. And I start with the new one in the box. But how you explain I will find something. (And off course I work with gloves then)

I have tried oven cleaner and I have tried brake fluid, but I am not a fan of either. My go to is Super Clean. Sometimes it takes a while, but it usually works for the paint that I use. For extreme situations, an Air Eraser loaded with baking soda will work.

Don't tell Naja but I bought 4 new kits very cheap so the idea of cleaning moves away for a long while.

We always have to be searching for savings to feed our addiction to plastic. 😎😎😎😎🙃🙃🙃🙃🤗🤗🤗🤗

If you do decide to use Super Clean, please wear gloves. It will dry out your skin.
