A Yorkie...
Never mind, I do believe a cure is imminent (titter)
Worked with a good few of the Guys from pudding land, when I was on the Coaches. The Beers good as well... or was!!! not many Breweries left now, is there???
William 'Compo' Simmonite, a Londoner in real life, was one of my favourite Yorkshiremen.

Tell me Martin...
How do you, as Yorkshireman, end up in Norway???
Coz! when I looked at your profile, and with the name Jakobsen, which kinda sounds Norwegian, Dutch or Danish, that's where I thought you were from. I was kinda knocked back when you said Yorkshire.
I'm naturally nosey also😢

Well Steve I can blame my mam for that😉 I was born and raised in Goole and as you may know Goole is the flast sea port on the Humber river, so ships mean sailors and sailors been sailors well .....Anyway long story short boy meets girl, boy marries girl( by the way i was already in the picture when all this happened) 21 years later dad(technically step-dad but have known no other dad) says lets move to Norway,I had just left the Army and thought why the h... not ,have nothing holding me hear so yes. and her we are 25 years later😢 Wife, job, house and live what i call a comfortable life.
So thats the the VERY short story of how a Yorkshire lad gets to Norway😉
