Yay!! What'll you build?

Never participated in a group build before. Have the Academy 1/72 SB2C-4 Helldiver on the shelf. Good motivation to give it a try.

It will be an out of the box build and I will use the overall gloss blue scheme since I will be using brush and spray cans to finish. Only thing I want to pick up is the mask set for the canopy. Built a few armour kits so see how an aircraft turns out.

I know, and I won't be done. It is built and the paint is on. However, I used a spray can and the first attempt was a disaster. Too thick, pooling on the edges. Spent a lot of time wet sanding to level things down. Put on another topcoat tonight which looks better, but won't be ready for decals and final details by end of tomorrow. Oh well, will still post when it is done. Have you been seeing the separate album of the build? It looks like this is an older one that was started when I joined the groupbuild.
