Hi Donald,
a very good and detailed kit, that requires some experience.
I wouldn't recommend it to a novice.

Hi Hauke,
Thanks for the heads-up. I do have some expereince so I should be OK. Actually I converted an old AURORA 1/48 scale kit to an AVRE back in the early 70's. I bet this one will be better...well at least I hope so.

All the Best!

Hi Don,

just to point it out! Your experience was never challenged by me! I assume that modellers registered with this website are experienced normally.
It was a general statement in regard to the kit!
I don't recall that AURORA offerd a Churchill Infantry Tank once. I remember Kingtiger, M4A1 HVSS, Panther and I believe M46. The rest of AURORAs tanks fell into oblivion. That's a perfect example, how memory fades!!!!

All the best

I guess that most of AFV Club's kits is a bit harder than Tamiya to build.

Hauke,
No problem Mate on the experience thing.
If you want to have trip down memory lane Google Aurora Churchill. They also did a M-109. All were pretty good especially since most came out in the mid-late 60's. I received the M46, King Tiger and M-109 for Christmas in 1968 along with the Revell B-17, 1/32 Spitfire and Me-109 F. It was a great Christmas!
All the Best!

Urban,
Just more parts...well molded for the most part. Patience is required. I have been working on a Centurion for quite a while.

All the Best!
