Lol!!!😄
Yesterday Saturday 1st of June. I went to Sandown Toy Fair, I picked this up, amongst a load of other kits, not sure but I might stick it on eBay, I need to top-up my kitty for Ferrari MFH kits.
Yes, it's British, Black, fast for it's era and was one of my favourite Bikes at the time, Norton being my ultimate favourite followed closely by the Italian Bikes👍

120mph on this one.... frightening 🙂

Steve Wilson
Yes!!!
120mph at that time, with the technology not like it is today, Yes 61%dy frightening. Can you imagine this racing in today's MOTO GP😠

LOL Steve... to see the titanium plates at knee AND elbow in the today's slowmo... help! Can't quite imagine to drive this bike fast through a corner. By the way, did you see the Top Gear race to Edinburgh with the hamster on the Black Shadow?

Steve Wilson
Yeah!!!
Great TV, and Hammy is the right size & weight for those old Bikes...

I must say i'm not a big fan of bikes. but those old work of arts makes great living room decorations. i would like to have an old Black shadow or a Laverda in either the bedroom or the living room. maybe start it from time to time and just listen to it with a glass of wine. but i would never ever take it out on the roads, not even if i got paid 🙂

No I'm not a fan either...
I only like the fifties Bikes, well maybe into the sixties... I had an Ariel square four which I wish I still had, as I could sell it and buy all the MFH kits I want/need.

I had plans on selling my plastic kits and then buy MFH kits for the money. but it seems i'm too emotionally attached to all my kits 🤔
2 June 2013, 19:42
Steve Wilson
Yeah!!!
So you should be.
My mates wife made him sell his entire model collection, kits, tools the lot. Saying its me or the collection... He sold the lot.
She left him 3 months later. He's spending a small fortune replacing it. Only sell if it's what you want. Or to replace it with another kit, because its surplus to YOUR requirements...

That's a sad story 🙁 you can always replace a girl, but cars are impossible to replace. hmmm, i really hope there isn't any psychologist reading this😉

you never know ! Scalemates is a great resource for doctors trying to find strange people to experiment on 🙂 if they gave me some missing kits i would gladly take part in a experiment😉
2 June 2013, 20:11
Steve Wilson
I might...
If those missing kits were MFH.
