Brilliant 👍👍 Flying Tigers...great history.
I had a nice Flying Tigers T-shirt once, the people in the Chinese restaurant in Florida seemed to really like it, it had Chinese writing on it , could have said anything?? 🤣

Good luck with the build, l built the Airfix P40 1:72 Desert campaign....nice aircraft 👍👍

Indeed Mr D. The story of the Flying Tigers is really interesting! Everybody knows the shark mouth from their Warhawks. The kit is very good! I will post some pics here soon.

Nice work Edward!
there is an interesting story, the painting on the nose was a shark. However, at that time, people in the southwestern China had never seen a shark, so they called it a "flying tiger." Chennault accepted the name, and thus the Flying Tigers got their name.

Many places in China have established memorial halls, parks, and monuments dedicated to the Flying Tigers. Even today, commemorative events are held every year on the anniversary of the victory in the War of Resistance Against Japan.
