This might take a hot minute, still reading up on the SU-37 Terminator. Uptil now, I thnik my safest bet to build one, would be to kit-bash a SU-27B + Su-33D.....

Hey Donnie, I too am pondering about this one.
I think it depends a bit on how close you want to get.
Hasegawa decided to simply use an Su-33 in 1/72 for their Yellow 13.
Reason may be a lack of Su-37 tools.

I do not know all the differences the Su-33 and Su-37 have but I think the vertical stabilizer is taller on the Su-37. You could modify them with polystyrene to match. Or you could just use the Su-33 with the new nozzles.
And there are the nozzles of course, but you already have a solution for that. 🙂

About the decals, I ordered some in 1:72 for several Ace Combat (Yellow Squadron included) aircraft.
Should I manage to vectorize them and scale them up to 1:48 before you have found your own solution I will gladly send the files to you.
I am currently learning how to do that, so I can not make promises, sorry. 🙁

Thats what had me tripping in the beginning to,
since the original image I had found, was the boxart from Hasegawa (on Acepedia) but from what I read and found out til now, it makes more sense to use the Su-33 as a base, replace the Wings, stabilizers and the short stinger, with parts from an SU-27 kit.

The issue with the vertical stabilizers can be cleared just like what you said, which isn't differing from the sketchy minibase kit.... But pictures from the game and real life aircraft still differ, thanks to Proj.Aces using an eraly version of the terminator, that still had a single wheel front nosewheel, instead of the later modified twin wheel setup (due to stress and added weight of the canards system).

Thats my train of thought til now, and it's not a cheap solution... so, it's gonna take a while xD
I'd be grateful for the vectors 🙂 But I wouldn't know how to print them.
