I have just been looking over this kit and have my doubts about the scale. It is listed a 1:58 but when you compare the included figures with 1:72 Airfix pilot, they seem about the same size. Also the nose to tail length is of about 46.5cm, this is sort of near the size of the PG Bandai kit, could any Millennium Falcon experts shed any light on this for me.

The model kit is 46'5 cm long (as you mention) and according to the book "Modified YT-1300 Corellian Freighter Owner's Workshop Manual", the ship's length is 34'75m. So that would make the scale to be something around 1:75, instead of 1:58

I've always liked the cover art for this model. Do you know who the artist is?

I dug out my built, vintage 1983 kit that I built in 1984 or 85. Poorly built, but I liked it. I added scans from the instruction sheet, complete with rusty staples and deteriorating paper.
