CaptGPFWait - there's white decal paper?!?! Genius! Michael is correct, you will want to try them out - and inkjet paper is different from laser jet.

Michael .I wanted to give a big shout out to Yoda80. I just couldn't move on with this build without the damaged decal. I really didn't want to buy a whole decal sheet for the one decal. I browsed everyone that has built the same model and saw that David used a different paint scheme which did not include the decal I needed. I reached out and he sent me his unused decals. Thank you. This is an awesome community. I will pay it forward whenever the time arises.

Michael .Does anyone have a model lighting for dummies? I'm looking for a good beginners guide to adding lighting to my models. I can find tons of them when I investigoogle, some are more advanced some are too basic. I thought maybe someone here is in the same boat as myself and just beginning. Thanks.

Michael .I had to scrap this model. Too many mistakes, the tail was skewed, I started this 2 years ago and finally said it's not worth the frustration trying to fix all the mistakes I make 2 years ago.,

bughunterI have also a variant of the Lindberg kit in stash. But if I see the parts in the box then I start to think about the new Lukgraph kit, even if I will replace the struts by real wood.

Michael .This was my first attempt at a biplane and went at it all wrong. I have a Eduard Sopwith Camel dual limited edition and a couple of others that I'm going to do completely different.

bughunterOk, in that case I would _not_ recommend a Lukgraph all resin kit! The statement on the box "For experienced modellers" is completely true.
The newer Eduard biplane are much better for a start start. May be the SE5a is easier then the Camel, or a Fokker D.VII because of only some rigging lines.

Donald Dickson IIThis is a fantastic kit. The problem I found is that effort in the cockpit is rather wasted. It sits down inside the fuselage so far, its hard to see much. And if you do a pilot, forget it. LOL I have the AF version sitting in the stash.
