I was reading where the Horten Brothers had actually come up with a compound that was used in the build of their original aircraft that is similar to todays Carbon fibre, so they really were way ahead of their time hey !!!

I don't know if you have seen this site, but as you have the Horten in 1/48, have a look at this one. I have mine ordered already.

Hi Kerry, yes the Zoukei Horten 229 is a very beautiful kit but it is in the wrong scale😉 But the rumours are they will eventually also bring it out in 1/48. They have done it with the Ta 152H also. Nice to meet you too 😄

Thank you for your reply Erik, and I am a new boy on the block and as soon as I work out how to post photos, I will be putting some of my projects up for my ego 🙂 I noticed you live in the Netherlands. I guess every one will soon be snow bound then. !

I, fortunately, live on the Gold Coast in south east Queensland and the coldest it gets here is about 5c and the hottest , about 40c. Sunny all year round. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
