Very nice work. I live in Pittsburgh and I had the ideas of doing all of the PANG Planes. Lots of photos on the internet. I even started a porject here on the F-47 here in Pittsburgh, it's a gate guard. Lots of good subjects.

Sorry, clarification error. The decals are still on the sheet, unused and I have sprayed a clear coat ontop of the sheet, will the decal film still work with the clear coat on the decals?

You will certainly notice it when I get to the antenna mesh. The Voyager mesh seems almost opaque in density while the Trumpeter mesh would let through a ballpoint. [img1]
Compare to image 36, Voyager would be closest, though I didn't measure yet.

Thanks Marlin! There is a little puzzle with the flight deck, the small wooden decks for the gun platforms and the 4,5 inch guns. Need to decide which order is best to attach these different parts.

It's made from disposable paper placemats that you can buy for a party. I bought a pack and in AVA in Belgium. It has the texture pressed into it. I then lay a sheet on baking paper. And brush on some wood glue diluted with some water on the top side and let it dry. The baking paper prevents it from sticking onto your work station. Afterwards when you cut it to size the glue fixates the texture of the paper. And you can use superglue on the backside to glue it to the model.

You could mist a thin white or beige coat over everything to get that sun faded look over your paintwork and decals. 🤔
