I tell everyone I know to learn Solidworks or fusion360. Very useful skills!

Sweet build there, and nice 1:1 Toyota 86 too. It's great owing a miniature copy of your actual car. Well done

I have a little honda gorilla to. I built a 1/6 tamiya gorilla but I'm not happy with it. It's the version that's all chrome and it just looks ugly and toy-like. I've since discovered stripping chrome with drain cleaner so I might re-visit it one day.

In oz its called draino in super markets. Sodium hydroxide. Dissolves the aluminium plating without damaging plastic.

The gorilla has a bored/stroked 122cc twin cam 4 valve engine. 11hp @12000rpm. Its very fun and even more dangerous.

to remove chrome you can also use bleech that should be available almost everywhere. submerge it in a container full of it and let the chrome be gone, plastic should be ok.
