This kit is a new tool. But many parts were pirately copied and STOLEN from other producers. SH, Eduard etc.
Fun fact: When AZ stole instructions pictures from SH, they forgot update schemes and showing shape of SH parts instead their grinded pieces.

Nothing new, most of AZ/KP kits were copied without permission.
For Hornet check this comparsion:

There is a fine line between "stolen" and copied... most short run kit manufacturers copy parts from other manufacturers as it is the easiest and fastest means to an end. Special Hobby/MPM, Sword, Mach 2, AZ/KP all spring to mind. Maybe rather than taking offence at this minor infraction, it is better to consider the old saying that "imitation is the sincerest form of flattery".
