Thomas KolbThis one turned out really spectacular! What a difference the aftermarket decals made on the end result, the original ones were really bad. Good thing that you managed to salvage it.

Nick GA beautiful model of a gorgeous aeroplane. You certainly have a very eclectic collection of builds, which all look stunning. Your build of the DH.88 and one on Britmodeller have prompted me to get the Micro-Mir kit, as I;ve always wanted to build G-ASCP "Black Magic", but the latest boxing only has the decals for G-ACSS "Grosvenor House" in it due to Decograph production problems in the Ukraine. If you still have the decals for "Black Magic" going spare would you be willing to post them to the UK for me? I'm happy to pay P+P. Very many thanks. Nick G

Started with the cockpit during fall last year. Quite some scratchbuilding involve to get the inside to the level I wanted.
Just need to buy a new bottle of CA in order to get this going again.

J35JI think the Quinta decals worked great on the kit. The 3D effect really make a difference. Regarding application white glue was needed for a good result. I didn't apply any weathering on the decals as this was my first attempt with Quinta product, suspect that a small touch of Flory's will work fine on dried decals.
To finalize, in my opinion Quinta is a good alternative to photo etch. I will definitely use Quinta products again on my coming 1/48 & 1/32 projects.
