All that in one day! Very nice work. The glue fingerprint is classic; you did a good job cleaning it up.

Thank you Jennifer 👍
One day was only for the cockpit. The rest took more + life. I'm a slow builder 🙂

Sergej, this looks better every time I see it. The subtle but effective weathering is very nice. For the slightly muddy areas where people would walk, is that oil, pastels or some other method?

Thank you for your warm replies, mates 👍
John, this is just a few spots of oil (can't remember if sludge or sepia) and then dry-brush diffused.
The plane is still missing some chipping, but THAT is a thing that can quickly be overdone, so waiting for mojo 😉

Very nice work Sergej! Did you do any riveting or does the kit give you all these lovely details?

Thank you Thomas and Neuling 👍. Riveting is as is, beautiful and quite shallow. So the trick is to not flood all those beautiful details with rough primers or heavy paint coats. I thin all my lacquers way beyond recommended ratios. I'd say 5:1 in favour of thinner.

I think you didn´t get my question - did you add the rivets or are they already included in the plastic parts?

Possible, Thomas. 🙂
I did not add any rivets, except some positive ones onto the propeller cover. The rest is part of mould.

Thanks Sergej! I assumed so ..... your pictures gives me a good base for my 1:72 build of the A8 version. There I have to add a lot of rivets ... congrats again to this beautiful build 🙂 and thanks for sharing the information 👍👍
