Hi, I'm Angie! I was raised by a Navy man and Vietnam vet Dad who recently passed. He served aboard DLG 10, USS King. I came really close to following in his footsteps in joining the Navy, with my focus on medical care. All that changed when I met my hubby of now 20 years and I served a rich and fulfilling career as a Nursing Assistant in care facilities until my health just wouldn't permit it anymore. My hubby got me interested in model building in the 1990s and while I first started with cars, especially Corvettes, I started wanting to build ships. Recently though I've become really interested in Helicopters thanks to reading most of Tom Clancy's books and I've become a SEAL fangirl!
