Been "modelling" for maybe 45 years - started throwing glue on plastic when I was about 6 years old, cheap chinese or japanese 1/144 aircraft that my uncle bought from Hong Kong, Singapore and Malaysia.
Started throwing paint on the kits when I was about 9 year old and been doing it on and off ever since.

The internet and youtube in particular kept my interest even when I was not building.
Flory Models in particular kept the hook set in me and periodcially got me down to my local hobby shop - thanks Phil.
And now I have a bit more money for tools and the extras I'm starting to get back into it properly - it's just time I lack now.
I'll never be a Phil Flory, but I'll have fun trying.

Favourite subjects modern aircraft, AFV and figures - World War II to the present.
I'm an Aussie so I have a particular interest in Australian subjects and in particular the Royal Australian Armoured Corps - the RAAC.
I also have an interest in British subjects and some US subjects.

My main period of interest is post WWII, although I'd love to do some Napoleonic figures - I love the European uniforms of the period. I'd love to get some large scale Hussars - gentlemen of the cavalry.
