Album info
After a night attack on "Leverkusen" this Bomber from RAF 102. Bomb Sqd (Pockington/Yorkshire) was shot down by a Messerschmitt Bf-110 from 6./II./NJG 1 (Pilot Lt.Johannes Hager).
The Crew, except the Co-Pilot, could save them self by parachute ,and became POW.
The Plane crashed down near "Drove", a small Village about 10 km away from my home.
A "Story on my doorstep" !
To build this thing I take revells Halifax 04936 straight from the box ;
Only the "C-DY" Markings were done by Airbrush....
