What a mess 😄 That spare wheel on the rear trunk lid is quite interessting. I'd never could open the tailgate because of the weight. Good built, interessting color. The wooden interior looks pretty good.

Looks like there was a breathtaking party inside 🤣 love it! Do you have any photos showing how hinges and stuff for the rear door? Maybe what Christian named tailgate? I'm working on a Volvo wagon and the tailgate there is supposed to look very much like yours

Hi guys, thanks for your interest in my mess on wheels 😀. As for the rear hatch hinges, they are standard from Revell, I didn't modify anything there, I'll put a photo in the gallery so you can see how it's solved there. As for the wheel on the hatch, I simply drilled a hole in the hatch and cover and attached it with a plastik rod, permanently, from the outside it looks as you can see and from the inside no one looks 😀

As for the spare tire, I think the guys mean that on a real car the wheel would be too heavy for the gas struts to keep the tailgate in the open position. I think so too 🙂
