Tank Mark IV Male
For some reason I can’t explain I enjoyed putting all the 3D printed parts in a box.
Fitting the sponsons and track units
This is really fun and the tank is big enough I can use real tools and not just hobby tools
Lots of sanding and filing down scars where there were supports.
Nearly complete assembling
Starting with the unditching beam. I scribed wood grain in with a razor saw
Preshading and tracks
Zoey’s 1/64th scale (same as matchbox cars) mark iv test print
Prototype photo showing weathering and tank name “Hypatia”
Should I lighten the base green with dark yellow or deck tan?
What green should I start with?
Markings problem partly solved. I can use tank name Defiance leftover from my Matilda build
Tamiya olive drab + flat white + dark yellow
Weathering with oils, acrylics, you name it.
Possibly done. Need to think about it. I was going to mud it up but I kind of like where it’s at

Ben M@WhiteGlint it is one less reason to leave the house. Plus I was in danger of building kits faster than I bought them, so this enables me to overcome that problem.
