i have been delaying the paint process, because i need to scratchbuild some details....
After a long time, the pair is back in the bench. Applied dark geeen in the upper surfaces, light blue in the lower. Now "a bit" of masking to add the red bands
Masking removed, a few touches to fix a bit of green taken by the masking tape and to repair a bit of red overspray. Starting to look like I wanted it
I did not like the colours of the decal for the tail, so I printed one at home.
Replaced axles of the props with metal. I drilled through the centre of the propeller. I need to add some metal tubing there, to simulate the detail I see I the real size planes
replacement landing gear. i did not want to use the plastic one, too weak. metal tubing in two sizes, and one thin cable to make it more interesting
Painted
On its legs for the first time. Now I see that I forgot one decal, and I need to fix some paint..... macro is really unforgiving
and this one is completed.
and the inflight one, as well.
It can not be seen in this picture, but the struts are not correctly placed.... pity, but i like the landing gear as it is, so as it is will remain.

Robert PodkońskiI am absolutely speechless here... I was going to start assembly of the GeeBees in 1/144th scale... but maybe when I will grow more confident... 😉

Motor, that is a possibility I have though sometimes. I will certainly ask u about it when I do it
