Album info

An ex-Czech MiG-21MF, this aircraft was donated to Central Africa to take part in the so-called Carrot War, fought over ownership of a few carrot fields. The striking markings were created to draw enemy fighters towards it while other fighters snuck up behind. Despite acting as bait, Lt. Bunnyfield still scored three kills in the conflict.

This is Eduard's 1/72 MiG-21MF in their Bunny Fighter Club markings. As the exclusive members' kit, it comes with all manner of aftermarket stuff from Eduard as well. Resin cockpit, exhaust nozzle, wheels, and FOD covers (which I didn't end up using) were all present, along with both interior and exterior canopy masks and painted brass photoetch.
Like the other Eduard kits I have built, this one dropped together with no issues whatsoever. The resin, being designed specifically for this kit, posed no issues with regards to fitting. The only trouble I did have were with the large decals, which were thin, somewhat fragile, and a bit tricky to work with. Despite that, it still came out looking very nice indeed, if I may say so myself.
