starting the Heller kit and here are the first parts, metals from Vallejo and Mr Metal, green from MRP
added wire and fitted engine temporary
Frame, drivetrain and tank completed so far. Only small problems: had to drill 3 or 4 holes and some part positions I not found in the manual but with trail and error...
added exhaust and steering and "put it on the rims"
added wood and a flocked carpet inside

Decals are very thick and also somewhat brittle. The "B" on the radiator does not work, despite a lot of softener. Grinding the radiator down at this point, first?

ready so far, some parts are only loosely fitted
few more cables for the motor...
The kit has its problems, but brings a lot of pleasure at the end 🙂

yes, great car and there are many inspiring pictures...
thinking about wood, some more cabel (but lead should be better) and maybe a solution for the grids (frontlight and windscreen)

Geert Heijlvery, very nice build, I made the 1/12 Airfix version (see album on this website) and whether it is big or small it is a fantstic car.
