The kit has welding textures but they are too plain and they would be really hard to see after rolled armor texture effect

I painted the periscopes in silver first then black, a little trick I learnt from Japanese ship modelers for painting searchlights

Zvezda had two piece barrel but it fit well. I applied Vallejo air silver by brush to see if there are any flaws and then removed the paint with IPA

The kit supplied MG34 really sucks

I replaced it with RB Model's MG34, it's a shame they are out of business

Spanjaard, last week I had made an order from Jadar Hobby and also asked them for back ordering the avaiable items on RB Model's website, then they replied me this:"Regarding your request I am afraid that we won't be able to help you. We (and other Polish stores) cannot contact with manufacturer of these products. Our mails are left without any answer. We also tried to call however there is only information that number is not active. So we suppose that they finished they activity and they products are unavailable anymore." Sad but this is the situation

very sad indeed, but that kind of answer leaves not doubt. i guess they did not shut down the website, but eventually the domain etc will disappear.
