Some added detail with lead wire
Interiors varnished with Tamiya X-22
After a wash and matt varnish, I cut the floor sides, to be more accurate and then closed the halves
Difficult fit is the wings
Some difficult joins at wing roots; I put a small sprue piece inside to open the cowl a little to improve the fit, I'll remove it after glue dries
Some putty and AK primer
Pre-shading
The parts around the oleo have a strange position, but reference photos do show them very wide open
Installed a black palsticard wall through the middle of the engine, so that light does not pass from one side to the other, through the exhausts openings
Varnished with X-22 and ready for decals
First decals - very good fit

Ricardo ReisKit is really nice. Could probably have a better fuselage and wings fit, but no big deal - really fast build, that I'm doing while waiting for the paints of the F/A-18 and Mig-21 builds to dry! 🙂

Dan CookI have had the same issue with getting the wings to fit. I had to use some sprue in the cockpit area to spread the nose to fit the wings. I have boxed it up at the moment and I am going to come back to it. Frustrated me so lost my mojo a bit on it.

Ricardo ReisYes, the macro fit is a bit messy, but I think it is not as bad as it seems. Furthermore, the join lines are aligned with natural panel lines, so you can get away with a lot of messy repairs. Because of this, I used more Plastic Perfect Putty than I usually do, because it is quite easy to apply and clean with water, without much worried about sanding afterwards! 🙂
