Bernie was from my father' s home town of Old Forge PA. Little Willie was mauled by fighters twice within a week's time. Once it hedge-hopped to England; the next it went missing in action with its crew as POWs. This is a retro style project with hand painted nose art, stenciled Group marking to reproduce the vagrancies of the actuals and it will have scrounged decals. I ve made some adjustments to crew position windows. It is a Douglas Long Beach CA product just before that plant staggered the waist ( the first to do so.)
