Was feeling lazy so used the spray can Mr. Surfacer 1000

Spray Paint (usual mix with Tamiya Thinner + Vallejo Air Brush Flow Improver). The cockpit parts are all done with Yellow Green XF-4. The Landing gear area/parts, interior nose cone, hub caps in White XF-2

Think I am going to stop using this approach of putting black panel liner on the primed model. Zero effect once the model is spray painted and then you have to redo it with after the gloss coat. Will

Top is spray painted with Medium Blue XF-18 (3) + White XF-2 (1)...(+ thinner + airbrush flow improver). Used a chrome pensil (lead) for the chipping effects.

Bottom is spray painted with Sky Gray XF-19 (3) + White XF-2 (1)...(+ thinner + airbrush flow improver).

Gloss coat and then redid the panel lines with Tamiya Black Panel liner and more chipping effect with the chrome pencil. Also faded some of the top paint on random panels to show weather effects of sitting on a airplane carrier/at sea/sun.

Evolution of my Antenna since I started in October 2023. First antenna (Fw-190) is wire material, second two on the Hayate (first attempt with a cotton thread), the Raiden is some more experience using the same thread (cotton/poly).

Now I have started to use E-Z (Fine/Charcoal Black) and Brass Tubing (0.6mm OD x 0.4mm ID).

Thank you so much gorby!! I definitely felt a sense of pride! Had some learning moments with the CA glue and not to mention the patience needed to thread that EZ line into that 0.4mm brass tube (HOLY SHI!@$) But will try and get it right on my next project (Corsair F4U).
