Fritz01Thank you, Niels and Jacqueline, @Niels: the kit ist well detailed and hast a very good fit. In the instructions Border shows optional parts, but leaves it to your research to pick the right part, e. g. the muzzle beak. To produce zimmerit, they give you advice, how to make it on your own. I preferred Atak zimmerit, which is easy to handle and looks great.

Fritz01Thank you mates for your kind comments. 50 years ago these figures were cheap and quite common. Some kits I finished at that time. @Ben: the hussars of Frederick the Great's Army wore also mustaches, where on other troops he disliked this habit. So I thought, it might have been similar with the british hussars.

Fritz01Thank you Pietro, Derek and Shar for your comments. Glad, you like it. @Derek: the kit is worth its money. Only the front plate of the casemate will need quite a bit of sanding, as some guys who built this Porsche Jagdtiger before have mentioned already. Wonder wether Takom dealt with it in the new Porsche Jagdtiger kit.
