Cool Picture. Looks like a crashed spaceship on a far planet. 😉

@Łukasz - it is 51 cm long in 1/144th scale and its horizontal stabiliser (that has the same span as the wings!) is ca 30 cm...
@Bruce - it looks like its subassemblies can be painted separately. My first impression is that the engineering of this kit top quality!
@Erik - awesome, isn't it? 😉

Now I feel a bit intimidated and obliged and the same time... I promise to do my best, nevertheless, Mates. At least I found and decided on the paints that seem to be adequate...

The Caspian Sea Monster? Pretty big for 144...

Robert Podkoński
Just a word of explanation, Maciej: actually the nickname "Caspian Sea Monster" was first given to the earlier built, even bigger craft, coded KM (Korabl-Maket = Ship-Maquette) by the Soviets:
oldmachinepress.com/..caspian-sea-monster/
The hull of this KM was 97,4 m long! (In 1/144th scale = 67,6 cm)
I have created the WIP album - please, feel welcomed, Mates!

Sounds like an understandable reaction, Robert. It can wait til you're ready. Enjoy the other side projects instead 🙂

Btw, there is now photo etch for this kit (announced I guess). I saw it the other day, from Microdesign. Looks like maybe a lot of jet engine parts, unsure:

I know the feeling Robert. Sometimes you get to a certain point in a build but can't seem to motivate yourself to go further. Give it time. One day you will suddenly wonder why you never finished it.

Thanks, John... there are certain emotional reasons behind my loss of motivation.

I had the same working on a tempest but after I got some matching colours that I needed I found it back again

I've learned that if I am bored, then I am 100% willing to work on some tedious project, no matter how flawed the kit is. On the other hand, when I am not bored, always having something to do, my willingness to fiddle with fixes, sink marks and overly complicated stuff, plummets to new lows. 🙂

Why would we need the TNKR GB if it never happenned? 😛
That's what the shelf of doom is needed in every man cave 😄
Take your time Robert, pick other stuff and surely you'll come back to it at some point in the future. 👍
