Italeri T-34 M1942

This was/is one of those projects. I obtained 7 Italeri kits intended for wargaming. I started digging into the T-34 subject and before I knew, I was off. After digging through all reference material, I settled for the version without front-mudguards and with a lot of grab-handles.

During a game, the tank can be destroyed and usually I remove the turret to indicate so. Of course, there is a large empty space looming below the turret. That will not do... So I started replicating a minimalistic impression on the interior fighting-compartment. Times 7, of course, and noting down all parts created for future reference.

2 Examples have been painted fully, 5 only have their interior painted.

A very sturdy kit, more so with the metal barrels. The only detail lacking behind are the road wheels. A real joy to work with, even if this kit is older then me...
